This individual will provide software engineering in an Agile development environment as part of a team integrating AI/ML-driven scenario evaluation into various weapons systems and systems of systems. Requirements: United States CitizenshipAt least eight 8 years of development experienceAt least 3 years of Python development experienceAbility to clearly and accurately document software source code, specifications, and manualsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to collaborate constructively and present overall results with other government and contractor personnelAbility to thrive in a flexible and dynamic work environmentAbility and willingness to teach and mentor junior developers Responsibilities: Design, Develop, and Integrate AI/ML Models utilizing Python in the NVIDIA Holoscan environmentCreate, maintain, and update software documentationWork with members of the team to assist in the running of virtual, and live test eventsIntegrate a multitude of technologies and systems into Holoscan pipelinesActively support all aspects of the system development lifecycle (analysis, requirements definition, design, coding, development and unit testing, maintenance and preparing associated documentation) with an emphasis on software coding Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with AI/ML Model training and IntegrationExperience with Computer VisionExperience with Git, GitLab, Jira, ConfluenceWillingness to travel to support test events in the fieldComfortable working on a team and interfacing with outside entitiesWillingness to adapt quickly to new requirementsAgile/SCRUM experienceExperience with Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) and/or Software-in-the-loop (SWIL) testing Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required Compensation: $90,000 - $125,000 (Please see below for more info on salary)Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.The projected annual compensation range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
